The Sport Australia Hall of Fame Limited (“SAHOF”) is a company limited by guarantee (ABN 43 077 728 897).  It is incorporated expressly for the purposes of recognising and promoting outstanding sporting achievements of Australian athletes. This does not involve rendering legal, professional or other advice or services. SAHOF, therefore is not, and will not be, liable for any damages of any kind to any person arising from the use of this website. SAHOF expressly disclaims any and all liability and responsibility to any person in respect of the consequences of anything done or omitted to be done by any person in reliance, whether wholly or partially, from any part of the contents of this website.

SAHOF has taken all reasonable care in the preparation of this website but makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the operation of the site or the accuracy or completeness of information, content, data, materials or products included in this website. SAHOF collects and stores information that is necessary to promote and advance SAHOF’s purposes and to offer, provide and improve its activities. SAHOF records visits to its website and logs data through its web server which includes number, time and date of visits to the site and its pages. This information is used for statistical purposes and to ensure the website is providing relevant information.

SAHOF is committed to providing consumers with a fair and responsive system for handling and resolving complaints. You have a right to complain and to have your complaint handled efficiently. SAHOF considers that in receiving your complaint, it is provided with a valuable opportunity to improve its activities and maintain your confidence in SAHOF.

If you have a complaint please send an e-mail to SAHOF will endeavour to investigate and advise you of the outcome of a complaint within 21 days of receipt of such complaint.


Liability Disclaimer

SAHOF will use all reasonable endeavours to protect and keep confidential any personal information in its possession in relation to its Members, customers, subscribers or website visitors. If confidential or personal information is accessed by a third party, whether by negligence or otherwise of SAHOF, its agents, suppliers, contractors, related bodies corporate, affiliates or associated parties, to the extent permitted by law, SAHOF is not, and will not be, liable for any loss, damage, costs, liability or other form of contribution.

Further information may be obtained on privacy issues in Australia by visiting the Australian Federal Privacy Commissioner's website at;



  1. SAHOF will only offer a refund for, or exchange of, a ticket if the SAHOF event or activity is cancelled, rescheduled or significantly relocated due to circumstances outside of SAHOF’s control (and you cannot or do not wish to attend the rescheduled or relocated event).
  2. SAHOF will not offer a refund for, or exchange of, a ticket if you seek the refund or exchange as a result of a change in your personal circumstances. 
  3. If an event or activity is cancelled, rescheduled or significantly relocated by SAHOF, all liability is limited to the amount for which the ticket was purchased (including any fees or charges). Proof of purchase will be required prior to the consideration by SAHOF of any refund or exchange.
  4. SAHOF will not be liable for any other losses incurred by you as a result of the cancellation, rescheduling or relocation of an event or activity, including but not only any travel and accommodation expenses.



Tickets will be delivered/posted up to 7 days prior to the event.

For tickets purchased less than 7 days prior to the event, purchasers will be responsible for arranging collection of tickets from SAHOF’s office.



GST will apply to all goods and services supplied through this website. Prices in this website include GST where applicable unless otherwise stated.



Admission to an event or activity is subject to the following terms.  In particular, the following form part of SAHOF’s terms unless otherwise specified:

  1. You may be denied entry into, or removed from, an event or activity where SAHOF (or the venue managers of the event or activity venue) has reasonable grounds to do so, including if you breach any of these terms and conditions, or you are intoxicated, under the influence of illicit drugs, inappropriately attired or adversely affecting the enjoyment of the event or activity by others.
  2. If you arrive late, you may not be admitted until a suitable break in the event.
  3. SAHOF (or the venue managers of the event or activity venue) may impose additional event or activity terms and conditions in its (or their) absolute discretion.



Entry to an event or activity will only be permitted with the use of an official ticket. If the authenticity or validity of a ticket is questionable or not with the attendee, you will be refused entry.



Tickets may not be resold or offered for resale at a premium (including via on-line auction or other unauthorised resale sites) or used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes (including competitions and trade promotions) or to enhance the demand for other goods or services. If a ticket is sold or used in breach of this condition, the ticket may be cancelled without a refund and the ticketholder of the ticket may be refused admission.



SAHOF may vary these Terms and Conditions at any time by updating them. Any variations will only apply to ticket purchases made after these Terms and Conditions have been updated.
