Holly Aitken - Victoria

A member of the Victorian Institute of Sport triathlon program, Holly has been competing since she was 11. Holly, who attends Ruyton Girls school in Kew, has had some outstanding results during 2009 considering she is only 17 years of age.

Holly became the Australian Youth Olympics Champion (U/19) early in 2009 (youngest member of the Australian triathlon team) and followed this up with a 2nd in the National Championship Race ITU Junior event in Hobart (U/19) and 2nd in the Oceania Championship Gold Coast ITU Junior (U/19), and a 7th in the Triathlon World Championship, Gold Coast ITU Junior (U/19), in September.

Holly was also the Canberra Challenge National Series Race Winner, ITU Junior (U/19), finished 2nd in the 2XU Super Sprint Race Weekend ITU Junior (U/19), and 2nd in the Airlie Beach, Triathlon, Open Age.

Holly's personal ambition is to one day make the Olympic Team and to compete on the World Elite Triathlon Circuit.
