PAT CASH FORMALLY INDUCTED INTO THE HALL OF FAME - Sport Australia Hall of Fame Chairman John Bertrand AM and former Davis Cup Captain and Wimbledon Champion Neale Fraser OA MBE formally inducted in person, 1987 Wimbledon Champion Pat Cash into the Hall of Fame.

The Sport Australia Hall of Fame recognises the importance of acknowledging and celebrating Australia's sporting moments and in 2007 introduced the 'Hall of Fame Moments'.

The 2009 'enshrined' moment was Kieren Perkins 1500m freestyle Gold medal against the odds at the 1996 Atlanta Games. More
